About this role
About Triade
Triade is a data and analytics consultancy founded in the United States, now in its seventh year, with teams and clients across the United States, Mexico, Colombia and Brazil. Our roots are in data management: most of our work is on the Informatica platform (IDMC, data integration, data quality, MDM and governance), alongside modern data platforms such as Snowflake, Starburst / Trino, Databricks and Google BigQuery. We are growing, and we are looking for a Delivery Manager to grow with us.
About the role
This is a permanent seat across our portfolio, not a single-project role. You will take work from the first conversation to the last invoice: help shape what we propose, run the delivery once it is sold, and help build the team that delivers it. Over time the role grows into account management.
A Delivery Manager here is not a "by the book" project manager. You know the data management and data platform world well enough to follow what the engineers are saying, form a view on an implementation, tell when an estimate is optimistic, and say so. Architects and consultants own the technical work; you own whether it lands on time, inside budget and on our promisses.
At any time you will be carrying between 3 and 15 initiatives across several accounts: client projects, pre-sales pursuits, proofs of concept and hiring processes. Sometimes a client will ask for a dedicated delivery lead for a few months; you may then be assigned mostly to that engagement and come back to the wider portfolio when it ends.
What you will do
- Shape the work (pre-sales). Join discovery and proposal sessions, help build the project concept, plan and staffing, and make sure what we sell can be delivered.
- Run delivery. Take a sold scope or SOW, plug the team into it, set the cadence, follow up with the consultants daily, remove blockers and keep priorities straight.
- Own the client conversation. Weekly status, monthly reporting, escalations, and the difficult conversations: a slipped date, scope creep, a dependency the client has not delivered.
- Hold the commercial line. Track hours against budget and purchase orders, flag overruns early, prepare change requests with the numbers, and support monthly invoicing with our finance team.
- Grow the account. Keep the relationship healthy and look for the next project, not only the current one.
- Build the team. Help run hiring: open roles, screen and talk to candidates, coordinate technical interviews, and help onboard and grow new people, including junior talent.
What you need
- Delivery experience in IT services or technology projects for external clients: as delivery manager, project manager, engagement or account manager, running several initiatives at once.
- Real exposure to data projects: data integration, data quality, MDM, governance, data warehousing / lakehouse or BI. Informatica, Snowflake, Starburst, Databricks or BigQuery experience is a strong plus.
- Resilience with stakeholders. This role meets pushback from clients, partners and sometimes our own team. You stay professional and still get to a written decision.
- Budget and scope discipline: time and materials with caps, change requests, purchase orders and the arithmetic that goes with them.
- Professional English and Spanish. Clients are in the US and Latin America; you will run meetings, write status and handle escalations in both. Portuguese is a plus.
- Comfort working in a small, fast-moving company where you talk to everyone directly and wear several hats.
Nice to have
- Pre-sales or proposal experience (scope, plan, estimate).
- Hiring or team-building experience.
- Account management or customer success in technology.
- PMP, PSM, CSM, ITIL or equivalent.
How we work
- Fully remote from Latin America or Brazil, with substantial overlap with US business hours.
- Occasional travel to clients and events in Latin America or the US.
- Weekly status per initiative: delivered, planned, hours consumed, risks open. Written over verbal.
- You report to our Director of Delivery Management, who will coach you through your first projects and pursuits.
- In Brazil, a Rio de Janeiro / Niterói base is a plus (possible hybrid days in the future).
Engagement and rate
Independent contractor, contracted by Triade LLC or its associated.
